Gromov-Witten theory of orbifolds and their crepant resolutions
After reviewing the theory of Gromov-Witten invariants on orbifolds,
I'll describe joint work with Jim Bryan trying to make precise the
physical principle that this theory should be equivalent to standard
Gromov-Witten theory on a crepant resolution and to verify it in some
interesting examples.
